It was another high scoring game between the Texas Rangers and Boston Red Sox on Tuesday night but the bad news was that all the scoring was done by the Red Sox. The Rangers were shutout and they allowed ten runs as the Red Sox had no problems Thursday night.

Tommy Hunter gave up seven hits and nine runs in only 1 2/3 innings.  Yeah, that short of an outing as the Red Sox scored nine runs in the second inning of the game. The middle part of the Rangers bullpen limited the Red Sox to those nine runs until Eddie Guardado gave up two hits and one run in the eighth inning.

As for the Rangers offense, they had six hits and left 19 runners on base while striking out seven times. It was that bad of a night for the offense.
