The Texas Rangers scored three runs in the bottom of the ninth inning as they beat the Los Angeles Angels 5-4 on Wednesday night.  The Rangers did the unthinkable as they scored three runs off Angels relief pitcher Francisco Rodriguez.  Wow, what a win it was for the Rangers!

Michael Young had a rbi single to get the scoring starting in the 9th inning and then Josh Hamilton hit a walk off two run home run to win the game for the Rangers.  Hamilton has been a stuf all season long and he stepped up once again for the team.  Before the big ninth inning, Jarrod Saltalamacchia was the only Rangers player to have a rbi in the game as he had a rbi single and a rbi sac fly early in the game.

Jamey Wright pitched the eighth and ninth innings to get the win and is now 5-3 on the season.  Rangers starting pitcher Warner Madrigal pitched the first three innings and allowed four hits and one run.  Josh Rupe then tossed the next three innings in the game and gave up one more run.  The Angels scored two more runs off of Frank Francisco as well.  The bullpen really got bailed of the game by Young and Hamilton.

Frank Catalanotto had a solo home run for the Rangers in the second inning.  The other Rangers RBI came off a Josh Hamilton sacrafice fly in the seventh inning.
